World Down Syndrome Day

Well where to start, what an absolutly amazing World Down Syndrome Day we had yesterday!

Me and R Kid have been rocking funky colourful socks since we were kids, we always done this as a family to show support and raise awareness. This year was a little different for us, with it being our first WDSD since staring Stand Out in October. We had been getting involved with lots of different events and projects on the lead upto WDSD. From supporting some local schools to getting out and about to meet the public, we have had an amazingly exciting few weeks!  

World Down Syndrome Day did not disappoint, the amount of support shown towards Stand Out and Ross, has been incredible!

We cant wait for Down Syndrome Awareness month this October, so we get to do it al over again!
