Welcome to the Stand Out Socks “Sock In The Wild” competition.

We want to see where your socks take you — at home, at work, on holiday, out with friends, at the gym, on adventures, or simply out living life.

By entering this competition, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

📸 How To Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Take a photo featuring genuine Stand Out Socks products

  • Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook

  • Tag our official account: @StandOutSocksUK

  • Include the hashtag: #mySOS

  • Ensure their social media account is set to public at the time of entry so submissions can be viewed

Entries may be submitted multiple times throughout the competition period, provided each entry is unique.

No purchase is necessary to enter. However, genuine Stand Out Socks products must be clearly visible within the image.

🎁 Monthly Prize

One winner will be selected each calendar month.

The monthly winner will receive:

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

Stand Out Socks reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value where necessary.

🏆 Grand Prize Draw

Each monthly winner will automatically be entered into the annual Grand Prize Draw.

The Grand Prize winner will receive:

  • A £150 Stand Out Socks gift voucher

The Grand Prize Draw will take place on:

1st December 2026

and annually thereafter unless the competition is discontinued by Stand Out Socks.

The £150 Stand Out Socks gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or any cash alternative.

📅 Competition Period & Winner Selection

  • Monthly entries close at 11:59pm GMT on the final day of each calendar month

  • Monthly winners will be selected and announced within 7 days of the month ending

  • Winners will be chosen based on creativity, originality, and how well the entry reflects the Stand Out Socks brand and community spirit

  • The decision of Stand Out Socks is final

Stand Out Socks reserves the right to disqualify entries that:

  • Are incomplete or invalid

  • Contain offensive, inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content

  • Feature counterfeit or non-genuine products

  • Breach copyright or intellectual property laws

  • Attempt to manipulate or unfairly influence the competition

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Fake accounts

  • Automated entries or bots

  • Purchased engagement

  • Fraudulent activity

📩 Winner Contact & Scam Protection

For your safety and security:

Winners will ONLY ever be contacted directly via DM from our officially verified Instagram or Facebook account:

@StandOutSocksUK

We will NEVER ask winners to provide:

  • Payment details

  • Bank details

  • Card information

  • Passwords

  • Sensitive personal information

If you win, we will simply ask you to contact us directly via email at:

admin@standoutsocks.co.uk

From there, we will arrange shipping and prize fulfilment securely via email communication only.

If you are contacted by any other account claiming to represent Stand Out Socks, please treat it as fraudulent and report it immediately.

Winners must respond within 14 days of being contacted. If no response is received within this timeframe, Stand Out Socks reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

📷 Image & Content Usage Permission

By entering this competition, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to the submitted image(s), or have permission from the photographer and any identifiable individuals featured

  • Any children under the age of 16 appearing in the image have appropriate parental or guardian consent

  • The submitted content does not infringe the rights of any third party

By entering, you grant Stand Out Socks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, edit, crop, resize, and distribute submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes.

This may include use across:

  • Social media platforms

  • Paid advertisements

  • Website content

  • Email marketing

  • Printed promotional materials

  • PR and media campaigns

No additional compensation will be provided beyond the stated competition prizes.

Stand Out Socks will always aim to use submitted content respectfully and in keeping with the spirit of the competition.

📌 Eligibility

  • Open to UK and international participants unless prohibited by local law

  • Entrants must be aged 16 or over, or have parental/guardian permission

  • Employees of Stand Out Socks and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter

Participants are responsible for ensuring participation is lawful within their country or region.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges associated with prize delivery are the responsibility of the winner.

⚖️ Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stand Out Socks accepts no responsibility for:

  • Lost, delayed, corrupted, incomplete, or unsuccessful entries

  • Technical faults, platform outages, or network failures

  • Entries not visible due to privacy settings

  • Any loss, injury, damage, or disappointment suffered as a result of entering the competition or accepting a prize

Stand Out Socks reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Stand Out Socks also reserves the right to request the removal of any competition-related content that may damage the reputation of the brand or breach these Terms & Conditions.

  • Contacting winners

  • Arranging prize fulfilment

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
