Impact, Giving & Community.

At Stand Out Socks, we’re not just selling socks—we’re changing the story around learning disability and employment.

We’re now close to hitting 1,850+ hours of meaningful paid work for people with Down syndrome and other learning disabilities. Our team members don’t just help out—they design products, train new staff, pack orders with care, and help lead the business. This is real employment, with real impact.

So far, we’ve raised over £33,000 directly for good causes, and our socks are now being used by schools, charities, and businesses across the UK to raise even more. It’s a ripple effect—and we’re proud to be part of it

And we haven’t gone unnoticed. We’ve been featured on national TV, in newspapers, and on the radio. We’ve even appeared on a UK business exam paper. Awareness is spreading, and so is the message: inclusion isn’t a box to tick. It’s a culture to build.

At Stand Out Socks, empowering our community isn’t just something we do — it’s who we are. Every sock we sell, every hour of work we provide, and every campaign we launch is about showing what’s possible when people are given a real chance. We believe in purpose over pity, opportunity over charity, and community over everything.

We’re building something bigger than a brand — we’re building a movement. And we’d love you to be part of it. Here a few ways you get involved:

🎅🧦 Mission Christmas x Stand Out Socks

Last year, our Mission Christmas Socks raised over £3,000 to help ensure children living in poverty didn’t wake up to nothing on Christmas morning. Thanks to everyone who supported us by buying socks that do good, feel good, and look good. This year, we’ve done it again — and even better!

A huge congratulations to our 2025 winning designer, whose festive, fun, and eye-catching design is now available for everyone to wear this Christmas. Every pair sold includes a donation to Mission Christmas, helping bring joy to children across the UK.

Even more festive cheer: the winning designer received a £500 Amazon voucher and has their name proudly featured on the sock tag — a true Christmas claim to fame!

This year we have donated another £3,000 to Cash 4 Kids!

Running Total Donated to Mission Christmas is £6,300!

💙💛 Project Empowerment

Project Empowerment gives individuals the chance to kick-start their entrepreneurial journey, gain valuable skills, and boost their prospects—all while raising awareness for World Down Syndrome Day on 21st March.

This initiative is all about empowerment, growth, and making a real difference.

We provide 21 people with 100 pairs of socks each to sell, allowing them to keep the money they earn.

Project Empowerment isn’t just about socks—it’s about building confidence, creating choice, and making unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

🚀 2026 Applications for Project Empowerment will open February 1st!
